Daniel fills two roles within Pintail – as Development Associate he assists our Director of Development, Stuart Wyeth, with all aspects of real estate investment and development projects, from financial analysis to market surveys. As Construction Manager, he acts as the Owner’s representative for development projects, managing all activities associated with the construction of and/or interior improvements to a building while adhering to the project schedule and budget.
Daniel completed the Clemson University Masters of Real Estate Development program in December 2021, where he was a Fulbright Scholar. Prior to beginning the MRED program in 2020, Daniel spent seven years in the construction and development industry in his home city of San Jose, Costa Rica. In just three years as a project manager at Volio y Trejos Construction, Inc., he led and collaborated with a team of engineers to construct commercial projects totaling $50M. Prior to that, he served as a project engineer with Madrid-based international geotechnical construction firm, Rodio-Swissboring, Inc.
In addition to a Masters of Real Estate Development from Clemson University, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from San Jose University as well as a technical degree in accounting from Colegio Vocacional Monseñor Sanabria.
In his free time, Daniel appreciates any opportunity to get on one of Greenville’s many nearby lakes to wake surf. He also loves hiking and biking the many trails that Upstate South Carolina has to offer.
