Development Associate

Daniel Fallas-Naranjo

Daniel fills multiple roles within Pintail – as a Development Associate, he assists our Director of Development, Stuart Wyeth, with all aspects of the real estate development process. Daniel oversees financial analysis, investments, acquisition, market surveys, and preliminary site design to check project feasibility. Also, as Construction Manager, he acts as the Owner’s representative, managing all activities associated with constructing and/or interior improvements to a building while adhering to the project schedule and budget.

Daniel completed the Clemson University Masters of Real Estate Development program in December 2021 as a Fulbright Scholar. Daniel also had the opportunity to intern with Choate Construction in Charleston, SC, making him a valuable addition to the development team. Before beginning the MRED program in 2020, Daniel spent seven years in the construction and development industry in his home city of San Jose, Costa Rica. In just three years as a project manager at Volio y Trejos Construction, Inc., he led and collaborated with a team of engineers to construct commercial projects totaling $50M. Before that, he served as a project engineer all around the country with Madrid-based international geotechnical construction firm Rodio-Swissboring, Inc.

In addition to a Master of Real Estate Development from Clemson University, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the  University of Costa Rica and a technical degree in accounting from Colegio Vocacional Monseñor Sanabria.

Daniel loves hiking and biking the many trails that Upstate South Carolina offers. Recently, he has become a sunset chaser and tries to spend as much time as possible at the beach in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
